Commercial airline companies had to drastically reduce the overall flights they offered. During the latter half of March 2020 many people rushed to get private charter flights so they could get home and avoid being stuck when travel restrictions and lockdowns were imposed. The private jet industry has seen a large rise in new customers with many of them being the first time they’ve ever used a private charter. Some companies in the industry have reported over a 35% increase from the previous year. More than a third of customers who were new or returning.
